Software Quality Testing

Testing
The testing process involves a number of steps: preparation, process design, testing, and management.
Preparation: Developing the test case and planning of the testing process. Defining the roles and responsibilities of the testing team as well as the processes and techniques to be applied during testing. Including time estimates.
Process Design: Design of the testing process. Detail of the processes, techniques, strategies and tools to be used during the software testing.
Testing: Execution of testing. Uncovering faults, defects or problems, and documenting these. Also detailing solutions to any software development problems encountered.
Management: The test manager will manage, monitor, track and evaluate the software testing process, and implement improvements to the testing process. The manager ensures that appropriate and adequate testing tools are being used throughout the testing and software development life cycle.
